4. Quotations and Contracts

5. Payment Terms
5.1 Payment Schedule
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment terms are:
- 25% deposit upon contract signing
- 50% progress payment at agreed milestones
- 25% final payment upon completion
5.2 Late Payment
Interest may be charged on overdue accounts at a rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information about the project requirements
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals
- Ensuring site access and utilities are available
- Removing or protecting existing furniture and equipment
- Complying with health and safety requirements
7. Our Responsibilities
We will:
- Provide services with reasonable skill and care
- Use materials of merchantable quality
- Complete work within agreed timeframes (subject to unforeseen circumstances)
- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
- Comply with relevant building codes and regulations
8. Warranties and Guarantees
8.1 Workmanship Warranty
We provide a 12-month warranty on workmanship from the date of completion. This covers defects in our work but excludes normal wear and tear.
8.2 Material Warranties
Material warranties are provided by the respective manufacturers. We will assist in warranty claims where appropriate.
9. Limitations of Liability
9.1 Liability Cap
Our total liability for any project shall not exceed the total contract value for that project.

13. Termination
13.1 Termination by Client
You may terminate a contract by giving 7 days written notice. You will be charged for work completed and materials ordered.
13.2 Termination by Us
We may terminate a contract in case of non-payment, breach of terms, or if continuing would be unsafe or impractical.
